Due to the ongoing labour dispute in the City of Mount Pearl; the Mount Pearl Tennis Club will be suspending all lesson and league programming at our facility until Sunday, July 24. Going forward we will update our website on Sunday evenings and give an update to our members about the lessons for the upcoming week. In addition our clubhouse will be closed. The safety of our members and our youth staff is of the utmost importance to the club. We do not wish to put anyone at risk attempting to cross a picket line in order to participate in our programming.
We are currently looking at all other options to resume our program and plans to offer additional lesson time to make up for what is lost. Please have patience as we work through this difficult situation. If the labour dispute is resolved during the week, we will be able to resume programming at our facility within 24 hours.
We are sorry for any inconvenience. Our volunteer board is very disappointed to have to make this decision. We will be monitoring the situation closely and will keep you informed. Please visit our website and social media for updates.
Thank you,
Mount Pearl Tennis Club Executive
